AICHE +WWhatsapp Web Integration
Voice input for desktop messaging
Speak your replies directly into WhatsApp Web.
The short answer: open WhatsApp Web, click into any chat, press ⌃+⌥+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows/Linux), speak for 20-40 seconds, and AICHE inserts the transcribed message at your cursor position.
WhatsApp Web requires typing every message, while mobile has voice input, forcing you to switch devices mid-conversation and breaking desktop workflow.
- Open web.whatsapp.com in your browser.
- Select the chat where you want to respond.
- Click into the message field at the bottom.
- Press your AICHE hotkey to start recording.
- Speak your reply naturally.
- Press the hotkey again-AICHE transcribes and inserts the text.
- Press Enter to send.
Heads-up: WhatsApp shows "typing..." to the recipient while you compose. Dictate quickly to avoid appearing inactive mid-message.
The pro-tip: for longer explanations or context-heavy messages, enable Message Ready in settings. Your spoken words get formatted with proper punctuation automatically.
Result: responding to 20 WhatsApp messages that takes 22 minutes of typing becomes 7 minutes of dictation, and you handle personal communication without leaving your desktop workspace.
Do this now: open WhatsApp Web, select any chat with unread messages, press your hotkey, and dictate your response.
