The short answer: open Monday.com's Dev or CRM product, click into a sprint item update, deal note, or form field, press ⌃+⌥+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows/Linux), speak your update for 30-60 seconds, and AICHE inserts polished text.

Monday.com has grown beyond general work management into specialized products: Monday Dev for software teams, Monday CRM for sales, and Monday WorkForms for intake processes. Each product has its own text-heavy workflows. Dev teams write sprint retrospectives, bug descriptions, and feature specs. Sales teams log deal notes, write follow-up summaries, and fill out account profiles. The volume of text across these products adds up fast, and the quality of that text directly affects team outcomes. A vague bug description wastes engineering time. A thin deal note means the next sales rep to touch the account starts from scratch. Voice input keeps the quality high without the typing overhead.

  1. Open Monday.com in your browser and navigate to Monday Dev, Monday CRM, or any board.
  2. Click on a sprint item, deal card, or board item to open its detail panel.
  3. Click into the Updates section, a Long Text column, or any text field.
  4. Press your AICHE hotkey (⌃+⌥+R on Mac, Ctrl+Alt+R on Windows/Linux) to start recording.
  5. Speak your update. For Dev items, include technical context and status. For CRM deals, include what was discussed and next steps.
  6. Press the hotkey again. AICHE transcribes your speech and inserts it. With Message Ready enabled, the text is cleaned up for professional reading.
  7. Update status columns, add tags, and adjust dates using Monday's interface.

Monday Dev: Sprint Items and Bug Descriptions

Monday Dev adds software-specific features on top of Monday's board system: sprints, bug tracking, retrospectives, and deployment tracking. Sprint items need descriptions that specify scope, acceptance criteria, and technical approach. Bug items need reproduction steps, environment details, and severity assessment. Typing all of this for a 15-item sprint takes over an hour. Voice cuts that time down. When creating a sprint item, click the description field, press your hotkey, and dictate the full scope: "This item covers the user authentication refactor. We're migrating from session-based auth to JWT tokens. The scope includes updating the login endpoint, adding refresh token rotation, updating the middleware to validate JWTs, and writing migration scripts for existing sessions. Acceptance criteria: all existing tests pass, session migration runs without downtime, and token refresh works with concurrent requests." That's 25 seconds of speaking. For bugs, dictate while you're looking at the error so the reproduction steps are accurate.

Monday CRM: Deal Notes and Account Profiles

Sales teams using Monday CRM log activities on deals after every call, email, or meeting. These deal notes build the account history that the entire sales team relies on. When a rep goes on vacation or an account gets reassigned, the deal notes are the only record of what happened. Thin notes mean lost context and repeated conversations that frustrate prospects. Voice makes detailed deal notes practical. After a call, open the deal in Monday CRM, click into the activity log, press your hotkey, and speak: "Had a 30-minute call with their VP of Engineering. They're evaluating us against two competitors. Their main concern is our API rate limits for their batch processing use case. I committed to sending them our enterprise tier documentation by Thursday. Decision timeline is end of March. Budget is approved, and they confirmed the procurement process takes two weeks." That's a 20-second dictation that captures everything the next person touching this deal needs to know.

WorkForms for Intake and Requests

Monday WorkForms power intake processes across teams: IT requests, project proposals, design briefs, hiring requisitions. Each form has multiple text fields that need detailed answers. Submitters rushing through forms leave fields half-empty, which creates review cycles and delays. Voice makes form completion fast enough that people fill in every field properly. Open the form, click into the first text field, press your hotkey, and dictate the answer. Move to the next field and repeat. A project proposal form with fields for description, business justification, resource requirements, and timeline takes 20 minutes to type well. With voice, it takes 5-6 minutes, and the answers are more complete because speaking is less effortful.

Heads-up: Monday Dev and Monday CRM share the same underlying platform. Updates, columns, and automations work the same way across products. AICHE works in any text field regardless of which Monday product you're using.

Pro tip: for Monday CRM deal notes, develop a consistent spoken format: who you spoke with, what was discussed, what you committed to, what the next step is, and the timeline. This consistency makes deal reviews faster because the team knows where to find each piece of information.

Result: sprint items ship with full specs, deal notes capture every detail from calls, and intake forms get completed properly on the first submission, all because voice removed the friction of typing across Monday's product suite.

Do this now: open Monday Dev or Monday CRM, find an item or deal that needs an update, press your hotkey, and dictate a complete status note including context, decisions, and next steps.
