AICHE +AApple Mail Integration
Voice input for Mac email
Speak your emails directly into Apple Mail.
The short answer: open Apple Mail, click into a new message or reply field, press ⌃+⌥+R, speak for 30-45 seconds, and AICHE inserts the formatted email at your cursor position without requiring Fn key holds.
Apple's built-in dictation requires double-tapping Fn or holding a microphone button, stops after 30 seconds of silence, and processes slowly through Apple's servers.
- Open Apple Mail on your Mac.
- Click New Message or Reply to open the compose window.
- Click into the message body.
- Press ⌃+⌥+R to start recording.
- Speak your complete email naturally.
- Press ⌃+⌥+R again-AICHE transcribes and inserts the text.
- Click Send when ready.
Heads-up: Apple Mail's rich text formatting persists after dictation. Set your font and style preferences before recording, and transcribed text adopts those settings.
The pro-tip: enable Message Ready in settings for professional correspondence. Your conversational speech gets formatted with proper structure and tone automatically.
Result: processing 25 emails that takes 90 minutes of typing becomes 30 minutes of dictation, and you clear your inbox without hand fatigue.
Do this now: open Apple Mail, click New Message, press ⌃+⌥+R, and dictate a complete email to anyone you owe a response.
