AICHE +Salesforce Integration
Voice input for CRM notes and updates
Speak your call notes directly into Salesforce.
The short answer: open any Salesforce record, click into the notes or activity field, press ⌃+⌥+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows/Linux), speak for 40-90 seconds, and AICHE inserts a formatted call summary or update at your cursor. Works with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and any Salesforce text field.
CRM data entry is the tax that sales and support teams pay. You finish a 30-minute customer call, and now you need to spend 10-15 minutes typing up what happened. The deal stage, the objections raised, the next steps, the decision timeline. You have 6 more calls today. By 5pm, you have a backlog of 4 undocumented calls and you tell yourself you will catch up tomorrow. You will not. Those details fade within hours, and your forecast accuracy drops because your CRM data is incomplete or vague. Voice solves this by making the documentation faster than the decay. Dictate the call summary in 60 seconds while walking back to your desk, and the details are captured before your brain moves on.
- Open Salesforce and navigate to the contact, opportunity, case, or account record.
- Click into the text field where you want to add notes. This could be the Activity Log, a Notes field, a Case Comment, or a Chatter post.
- Press ⌃+⌥+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows/Linux) to start AICHE recording.
- Speak what happened. Cover the conversation topic, decisions made, objections raised, next steps, and any commitments on either side.
- Press the hotkey again to stop. AICHE transcribes and inserts the formatted notes.
- Set the activity status, update the deal stage if needed, and save the record.
- Move to the next record and repeat. Back-to-back calls can be documented in under 2 minutes each.
Opportunity Notes After Sales Calls
The gap between what happens on a sales call and what ends up in Salesforce is enormous. A rep talks for 30 minutes about pricing, technical requirements, competitive positioning, and timeline. Then they open the opportunity record and type: "Good call. Interested in enterprise plan. Following up next week." That note is useless to the sales manager reviewing pipeline and useless to the rep when they prepare for the next call three weeks later.
Dictate instead. Press the hotkey immediately after hanging up and speak: "Spoke with Maria, VP of Engineering. They are evaluating us against Datadog and New Relic. Main concern is pricing for their 200-node deployment. I quoted tier 3 pricing at fourteen thousand annually. She wants to loop in procurement. Decision expected by end of March. Technical team already completed POC and liked the dashboard customization. Next step is sending the ROI calculator and scheduling a call with her CFO." That took 25 seconds to say. It captures the competitive landscape, pricing discussion, decision timeline, technical validation status, and concrete next steps. The manager can read this and know exactly where the deal stands.
Enable Content Organization in AICHE settings before logging complex deals. Your spoken update gets structured into clear paragraphs that managers can scan quickly during pipeline reviews.
Case Resolution Summaries for Support Teams
Service Cloud users face the same volume problem. A support agent resolves 20-30 cases per day, and each resolution needs a closing summary. Typing detailed resolutions for every case is unrealistic, so agents write "resolved" or "fixed per customer request" and close the case. When the same customer calls back with a related issue, the next agent has no context.
Click into the Case Comment field, press the hotkey, and speak the full resolution: "Customer reported dashboard loading slowly on Chrome. Cleared browser cache and cookies, which improved load time from 12 seconds to 2 seconds. Root cause was stale service worker cache from the October update. Advised customer to hard refresh if the issue recurs. No product bug, closing as resolved." That level of detail takes 12 seconds to dictate. It takes a minute to type. Multiply by 25 cases a day, and the agent saves 20 minutes while producing dramatically better documentation.
Chatter Posts and Team Updates
Chatter is Salesforce's internal communication feed, used for team updates, deal alerts, and cross-functional coordination. Sales teams post deal updates, support teams flag escalations, and managers share pipeline summaries. These posts need to be readable and professional because they are visible to the entire organization.
Click into a Chatter post field on any record or the main feed, press the hotkey, and speak your update. With Message Ready enabled, your casual spoken update gets formatted into clean, professional text. "Just got off the phone with Acme, they are moving forward with the enterprise plan, contracts going to legal this week, expecting close by March 15, this puts us over quota for the quarter" becomes a properly punctuated, well-structured post.
Heads-up: dictate immediately after calls while context is fresh. Memory research shows that recall accuracy drops significantly within the first two hours. A 60-second dictation right after hanging up captures more detail than a 10-minute typing session at the end of the day.
The pro-tip: create a spoken template for yourself. Start every call log with the same structure: who you spoke with, what was discussed, what was decided, and what happens next. After a few days, this pattern becomes automatic and your dictations produce consistently structured notes without thinking about format.
Result: logging 8 calls that takes 2 hours of typing becomes 12 minutes of dictation. Your CRM stays current without evening catch-up sessions, and your forecast accuracy improves because deal details are captured while they are still fresh.
Do this now: open a Salesforce record from your most recent customer conversation, click into the activity log, press your hotkey, and dictate the full context of what was discussed, decided, and planned.
