AICHE +DDeepl Integration
Voice for translation and context
Speak text for translation instead of typing.
The short answer: open DeepL in your browser, click into the source text field, press ⌃+⌥+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows/Linux), speak in your native language for 30-60 seconds, and AICHE transcribes and inserts the text for DeepL to translate.
Typing long paragraphs for translation creates unnecessary friction when you're trying to communicate technical concepts, documentation, or business content across languages.
- Navigate to deepl.com and open the translator.
- Click into the source language text field.
- Press your AICHE hotkey to start recording.
- Speak naturally in your native language (example: speaking Russian about technical specifications, German about business requirements, or Spanish about product features).
- Press the hotkey again - AICHE transcribes your speech and inserts the text.
- Review DeepL's translation in the target language field.
Heads-up: AICHE transcribes in the language you speak. If you need English output but think in Russian, enable AICHE's translation feature in settings. Otherwise, speak the language you want DeepL to translate from.
The pro-tip: for technical documentation translation, speak slowly and use complete sentences. DeepL produces better translations from well-structured source text, and AICHE's Message Ready formatting helps create that structure.
Result: translating 500 words of documentation that takes 8 minutes to type becomes 2 minutes to speak, and DeepL's neural translation handles the rest.
Do this now: open DeepL, select your native language as source, press your hotkey, and dictate one technical explanation or business email you need translated to another language.
