The short answer: open the WordPress editor, click into any Paragraph block, press ⌃+⌥+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows/Linux), speak your content, press again to stop. AICHE transcribes and inserts formatted text at your cursor position inside the block.
Gutenberg splits every page into discrete content objects: Paragraph blocks, Heading blocks, List blocks, Quote blocks, Reusable blocks, Block patterns. Each block accepts text independently. Content creation happens in focused chunks. Click a block, write, move to the next, write again. Voice maps directly onto that rhythm. Dictate one Paragraph block. Stop. Add a Heading with /heading. Move to the next Paragraph block and dictate the next section. Same workflow, faster input per block.
Real Example: Drafting a How-To Post Section by Section
You're writing a 1,200-word tutorial on setting up a WooCommerce store. Your outline has six sections. The Gutenberg editor is open with the title filled in and an empty Paragraph block waiting.
Click into the first Paragraph block. Press ⌃+⌥+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Alt+R (Windows/Linux). Dictate:
"WooCommerce turns a standard WordPress installation into a full online store. You get product pages, a shopping cart, checkout, and order management out of the box. This guide covers the five setup steps that matter most for your first ten products, starting with the store address and currency settings in WooCommerce, then moving through payment gateways, shipping zones, tax configuration, and your first product listing."
Press the hotkey again. The introduction lands in the Paragraph block. Type /heading to insert a Heading block, type "Step 1: Store Address and Currency," then click the next Paragraph block and dictate that section. Work through each heading and section pair until the draft is complete. Six dictation passes, one per section.
How to Dictate into WordPress
- Open your WordPress admin panel and click "Add New Post" or "Add New Page."
- The Gutenberg editor loads with a Title block and an empty Paragraph block.
- Type your post title, then click into the Paragraph block below it.
- Press
⌃+⌥+Ron Mac orCtrl+Alt+Ron Windows/Linux to start recording. - Speak one section at a natural pace. Cover one topic per dictation pass.
- Press the hotkey again to stop. AICHE transcribes and inserts the text into the block.
- Use
/heading,/list, or/quoteslash commands to add structure blocks between dictated Paragraph blocks.
Gutenberg Block Workflow
Every text-accepting Gutenberg block works with AICHE: Paragraph, Heading, List, Quote, Verse, Preformatted, Table cells, Custom HTML. Dictate into Paragraph blocks first. Convert to the target block type using the Block toolbar afterward.
For list posts ("10 tips" or "how-to" articles), dictate each point into its own Paragraph block. Select each block afterward and convert to a List block via the Block toolbar. Same for Quote or Pullquote blocks. Dictate the text, then convert.
Reusable blocks work the same way. Open one for editing, click into its text area, dictate. The content saves back to the shared block and updates everywhere it appears. Block patterns with placeholder text: click each text slot and dictate over the defaults.
Tip: dictate into Paragraph blocks first, then restructure. This keeps creation and formatting as separate passes. WordPress auto-saves drafts, but press Ctrl+S (or Cmd+S on Mac) after each dictation pass to be safe.
WooCommerce Product Descriptions
Each WooCommerce product needs two text fields: a short description for the catalog grid and a long description for the product page. Fifty or 200 products means a substantial writing workload.
Open a product in the WooCommerce editor. Click into the long description field. Press the hotkey. Describe the product as you would to a customer: materials, dimensions, use cases, care instructions, differentiators. Press again to stop. Click the short description field and speak one or two core-value sentences. A product description that takes 5-8 minutes to type takes about 60 seconds to dictate.
Enable Content Organization in AICHE settings when dictating product descriptions. Spoken specifications get structured into readable paragraphs with logical groupings - features together, dimensions together, care instructions together - instead of landing as one unbroken block.
Yoast SEO Fields
Yoast SEO adds meta description and focus keyphrase fields below the Gutenberg editor. These fields determine how your post appears in search results, and they're short enough that people often skip them or fill them with placeholder text.
Click into the Yoast meta description field (156 characters max). Press the hotkey. Speak a concise summary of the post. Press again. AICHE inserts the transcription. Trim to fit the character limit if needed. For the focus keyphrase, the field accepts typed input - but for the SEO analysis notes and cornerstone content descriptions, voice input works the same as any other text field.
The Excerpt field in the post sidebar works identically. Click into it, press the hotkey, and dictate a 1-2 sentence summary. This controls how the post appears in RSS feeds, archive pages, and some theme layouts.
Comment Moderation and Replies
Active WordPress sites accumulate comments that need responses. In the Comments section of wp-admin, click Reply under a comment, press the hotkey, and speak your response. Each reply takes 15-20 seconds of speaking. Working through a queue of 10-15 pending comments takes a few minutes of dictation instead of a dedicated typing session.
For comment moderation on WooCommerce product reviews, the same workflow applies. Click Reply on a product review, press the hotkey, dictate a response addressing the customer's feedback, and submit.

FAQ
Does AICHE work with the Classic Editor (TinyMCE)?
Yes. The Classic Editor is a standard text field. Click where you want text, press the hotkey, dictate, and the text inserts at the cursor. Works the same as any rich text editor.
Can I dictate into Elementor or Divi text widgets?
AICHE inserts text at the OS cursor position. Any text widget or text module in Elementor, Divi, or other page builders that accepts keyboard input accepts dictated text the same way.
Does it work with Custom Post Types?
Custom Post Types use the same Gutenberg editor (or Classic Editor). If the post type has text fields, AICHE works in those fields.
What about Categories, Tags, and taxonomy fields?
You can dictate into the "Add New Category" or "Add New Tag" name fields. For the description fields on taxonomy term edit pages, click into the field and dictate.
How does AICHE handle WordPress in non-English languages?
AICHE supports auto-translation. Dictate in your spoken language and the text inserts in your target language. Useful for multilingual WordPress sites using WPML or Polylang.
Result: a six-section blog post fills out in six short dictation passes instead of an hour of typing. Fifty WooCommerce product descriptions that take a full day to write take a few hours. Yoast SEO meta descriptions get filled in instead of skipped.
Try it now: open a new WordPress post, click into the first Paragraph block, press your hotkey, and dictate the introduction to your next article. Speak naturally for 30-60 seconds and see how the text lands in the block.
